Dr Sherrie Baehr

sherrieDr Baehr is a leading neuro-psychologist specialising in the field of brain injury. It was this exposure to the challenges of those with brain injury that inspired her to create The Siverlining charity. Dr Baehr has worked in the field of Brain Injury for the last 15 years. She has been an assistant Professor at the University of Miami, School of Medicine and undertook her internship at Tufts School of Medicine in Boston. Her enthusiasm and drive have attracted people from all fields.





Phil Spicer

philPhil is the charity’s Chief Financial Officer and it his hard work and accounting experience that have helped to turn Dr Baehr’s vision into the practical nitty-gritty of running a modern charity and ensuring that it gives precisely to those who it is designed to help.

Phil is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and, in a corporate career spanning Coca-Cola, Guinness and Bristol-Myers Squibb has held director positions in Customer Service, Purchasing and Finance. He is a business coach and runs a consultancy company, Ascent Business Services Limited


Helen Watson

Helen is founder trustee and an active advisor and supporter to Silver Lining.

Helen also manages the charity Elmbridge Rentstart, based in Esher, which provides support for the homeless who fall out of the state safety-net. With the trustees she established Rentstart seven years ago and has grown it into the highly regarded force it now is. She is also a regular advisor and supporter to African Revival, a charity which offers support and long term assistance for educational and community projects in sub-Saharan Africa.
