London Marathon Meeting 2009
Dear All,
As you all may be aware our fellow Silverliner David Pointet is running the London Marathon this Sunday in support of The Spinal injuries foundation and the Alzheimer’s Society. Well done to David who is an great example of being your personal best to support others a true Silverliner!
If you are able to come out and support David, The Silverliners will be meeting at Canada Water Station in Surrey Quays on Sunday 26th between 9:30 - 9:45
Canada Water station is on the London Jubilee Underground Station and is two stops from London Bridge station.
Please bear in mind that there will be no car access because of the Marathon!
We should all meet by the Canada Water tube station. If you have any difficulty finding the group look for the blue t-shirts! (It would be great to where your Silverlining t-shirt if you can)
Maryam will be along to capture the event on film, so if you would like to participate in the documentary you will have another opportunity! If you are camera shy and would not like to filmed, no worries.
If you arrive a little bit later we shall gather at the Surrey Quays Shopping centre (100 yards around the corner from the tube marked F on the map), where we will also be supporting fellow Silverliner Hannah Palmer who will be working as a volunteer first aider for the race.
The Blue Line on the map is the path the runners will take.
Look forward to seeing you all there to cheer David on!
Sherrie
